Museums for All Program

The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac offers over 200 learning programs and over 20 areas of play for child development and growth. The Museums for All program enables CMFDL to achieve its vision of serving all children and families regardless of their ability to pay admissions, membership or program fees. Since 2007, funding from this program has supported concentrated outreach efforts to low-income families and provided opportunities for our youth, supporting their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.

Military Access Program

As a way to say “thank you” to military families, the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac and its sponsors offer a variety of benefits, including a discount on membership, admission, and classes, plus free admission on Veteran’s Day. The Military Access Program expands on the “Blue Star Museum” benefit, offered since 2010, which provides free admission from Memorial Day to Labor Day for all active or reserve military families. Family membership can be purchased at a discounted $115 for an annual pass.  Click for Membership Details.

CMFDL is proud to be a Blue Star Museum!  This summer, active-duty military families can visit a variety of museums nationwide for free as part of Blue Star Museums, a program of the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense.

The 2024 program begins on Saturday, May 18, 2024, Armed Forces Day, and continues through Monday, September 2, 2024, Labor Day.

This FREE admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military—Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force, members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps—and up to five family members. Please present active Military Identification for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
